Uncertainty

“Loss and possession, death and life are one, there falls no shadow where there shines no sun.”

Humans have emotions that causes them to think and feel according to the changes in the internal and external environment. A quick search in the internet with the keyword “phobia” will reveal the vast number of things a human being can fear of, ranging from something as benign as fear of darkness (Achluophobia) to something as ridiculous such as the fear of seeing colours (Chromophobia).

Fear itself exists to protect humans from doing things that may be potentially harmful, such as playing with fire, knives and guns. To understand why we feel this fear, we must understand the link between these sources of fear and the feeling of fear itself – Uncertainty.

Nobody would ever look forward to visit the place which smells like iodine and saline. The less fortunate people who end up in the place often worry of not leaving the place through the front door (Necrophobia). Even though the place is often filled with a warm atmosphere of camaraderie, the departure of a neighbour can be disheartening.

People will then say “It must not happen to me because… I…” and ask “What if” questions. Do you think that people actually worry about vanishing into the ethereal world? Yes they do. Why? Because there are people around them, people who know them, people who can bring more uncertainties to them. More uncertainties, more chances, more possibilities.

Picture this, if you were born in an enclosed area and you have neither interacted with anyone nor saw anything else other than the four walls around you in your entire life. Would you even give a hoot about passing on?

No.

I do not fear uncertainties, I fear God.

The draconian law

“Freedom when you lift your hand, and that lifting of your hand touches the nose of another person, that’s when your freedom ends.” – The Home Minister

We have a problem, a party member incited racist sentiments in a speech causing uproar within the country. Despite countless warnings from the ministry to not publish such incidences, three newspaper companies decided to do otherwise. On top of that, the emergence of alternative media and blogs on the internet accelerated the widespread of the news so rapidly that we did not manage to suppress it.

What can be done now is to issue show-cause letters and order detention without trial to coerce them into conformity with our demands. We’ve already expected that our decision to carry out such an authoritarian act will be maimed by vehement protest from the people of the country. To justify our act, we shall then cite ‘The Patriot Act’ of the United State of America as an aegis to the denial of habeas corpus.

The answer to the question on why we bypass the ordinary court of law is that the court of law requires conclusive evidence and witnesses. There are instances where a witnesses dare not testify against the accused while the government is not able to produce concrete evidence as the documents involved are highly classified.

Berita Datuk!

My train of thought was disturbed when a messenger came in. It was bad news, a radical extremist hired a hit on the journalist, to wash blood with blood. It is evident that the people in the country would hold us responsible over her death, as we are known as the ones who are ever obsequious towards the majority class. I aware that the tension created by such a case is not subversive per se, but this is not a risk the government can take.

It was tough decision. I took a deep breath and said: “Take her in, Now.

Reflex arc – The ploy

“How fortunate for leaders that man do not think” – Adolf Hitler

We’re in trouble, our entire cabinet of ministers who are mired in corruption and graft are about to be overthrown by a strong opposition force. We cannot afford to lose our footing in the administration as it would mark the end to our ever avaricious schemes.

We the supreme leaders of the country have jointly agreed that the political usurp by the opposition must be prevented by any means possible. We’ve proven ourselves to be indifferent from a fictional hubris who believes that he is ever prudent in decision making and is blessed with the skill and charisma to ruse the people.

The incumbent government is in an extremely precarious position, the rise of bloggers and people who are aware of the truth is the epitome of a rising tide that will bring forth a tsunami that will drown us all. Behind the soporific speeches and daydreams, we are fully concious of the rising of a tide of a different kind – The rise of our ex-comrade.

To suppress the rising of this tsunami, we decided to superpose the approaching waves by concocting a cyclone. The recipe is simple, instil anger, hatred and jealously among the people who are already on the verge to civil disobedience. The science behind this is also simple, what happens when a physician taps the knee of a patient with a rubber hammer?

As a result, we would watch the law of physics take over as riots, demonstrations and arrests occur due to the tensions we created. It would then be time to declare civil unrest and the abrogation of the federal constitution prior to the implementation of Marshall law. We, the government recourse to such tactics to protect the administration from political subversion by fighting fire with fire.

Bypassing the inter-neurones and the integration centre is the aim, triggering a reflex response is the goal.

Dehumanisation

Warning: Extremely inhumane arguments below.

“Control your emotion or it will control you”

The greatest parade towards a new humanity is haunting this earth – The parade towards the emancipation of humans from their emotions.

Our human body is weak, it is greatly influenced by changes from the external environment. Many philosophers have postulated that we often make decisions based on our emotion and not pure rationale reasoning. This poses a threat to humanity, these emotions can lead to negative behaviour which in turn has a negative concussion on humanity itself. Living in a dynamic ecosystem requires each and everyone of us to carry out our niche or basic role in society. Unfortunately, humans are often hindered by the fact of being ‘human’ such as being lazy, feeling sleepy or being not in the mood.

Hence, something must be done to the human race – the removal of certain sense of emotion from all human beings. Sense of emotions that are targeted to be removed are negative emotions that will not bring any benefit to the human race as a whole such as apathy, grief, fear, hatred, shame, blame, jealousy, regret, resentment, anger and hostility. Imagine how great life will be without them.

With the stumbling block removed, humans of the world can live together in harmony and need not worry about life. Without negative emotions and laziness, humans would be highly efficient and productive in their work which will bring about a slippery slope that will bring betterment to the economy, society and humanity. With all these advantages, how then can one argue that the extirpation of human emotions is wrong?

One may argue that human emotion makes human life worth living. Now allow us to pose a simple question: do you like to feel negative emotion? Because of negative emotions, people commit crime, people rape, people commit suicide so on and so forth. Our goal here is to cleanse the human race of these evil deeds and we strive to achieve that goal through transhumanisation.

Would you rather be in the servitude of the external environment?

Transhumanism

Warning: Extremely inhumane arguments below.

Eugenics is the study of the agencies under social control that may improve or impair the racial qualities of future generations either physically or mentally.

Ever thought of increasing the level of your intelligence? Or maybe how fast you can run? One day, we may be walking into hospitals to have an upgrade. The prospects of eugenics and transhumanism outweighs the claims of so-called human rights activists who are no different than any other sophists in history. Sceptics claim that we transgress the fundementals of human rights by creating ’superbeings’. However, we stand firm to our argument that every mature human adult should have the right to self-determinination for the disabled, underprivileged, sick and weak.

Through transhumanism, we can march towards a world without poverty, incompetence, genetic disesases and other problems caused by human limitations. Picture a society of high intellectuallity, where people do not waste time indulging in hedonist acts but rather in important aspects and issues of the human race. Besides that, it is even possible to create a world without poverty and malnutrition by modififying human beings to live on other sources of energy perhaps?

Hitherto, transhumanism may sound absurd, but it could become a necessity or a social norm in the future as the human race faces many threats such as Global warming. The human race may need certain genetic modifications in order to survive the climate conditions of the future or maybe the extreme environmental conditions of outer space. So why are the people trying to extinguish this beacon of hope?

The multitude must understand that the concept of transhumanisation is irefuteable as it is merely for the good and betterment of the human race. We agree to their terms that the aims of transhumanisation must be both attainable and feasible. We firmly believe that we can make transhumanism technology available to all and affordable if we have the strong support of the multitude.

Humanity is faced with a stark choice, change or die.

Money – The root to all evil

Money is not the key to life. But if you have money, you can have a key made.

Flip through the newspapers, what do you see? Corruption, graft, murder, theft so on and so forth. Why are politicians corrupt? Money. Why people commit patercide or matercide? Money. Why people steal? Money.

Can money bring about happiness? Think about it, if you have all the wealth and money in the world and can buy the most sumptuous object of desire money can bring you. Are you truly happy? There is a Chinese saying that ‘A successful family business cannot last more than 3 generations’. Why? Because of the greed and avarice of man. The first generation is the pioneer, the second the successor and third the destructor.

How? The children of the pioneer will appreciate the parent’s hard work and strive to keep the business alive despite disputes among siblings over inheritance. However, when it reaches the third generation, there are more ’successors’ as they had multiplied in numbers. These ’successors’ are also known as the destructor because they are the venal ones who will do almost anything to have their share in inheritance.

The use of money for charitable acts? Think about it, why are the underprivileged poor? Its because of the absence of money! Money is the root and the evil! In “Utopia” by Thomas More, the writer depicted a perfect society without money and gold. Money and gold were deemed worthless and degrading as the prisoners or law offenders are made to wear gold and jewellery as a form of punishment. Without money or gold, the people were neither materialistic nor avaricious.

Coming back to reality, it is undeniable that the use of money is sacrosanct as the abolishment of monetary system is not possible in this age of globalisation – Money is an evil we must live with.

To live in ‘Utopia’ is nothing more but a dream.

The socialist standpoint

Socialism advocates the ownership of property by the community as a whole.

The reason why socialism is far superior than capitalism is due to the flaws in the capitalist system which implodes upon itself. Under capitalism, the ownership of property and wealth lies among few who are well off (bourgeoisie), which leaves the poor (proletariat) at the mercy of the rich causing gross inequality, misery, abuse and the exploitation of human flesh that culminates arrogant, uppity and inefficient upper class. Socialism aims to distribute the wealth evenly among society so that all can benefit and no one shall be left out.

A capitalist may argue that the ‘determination to succeed’ is one of the important factors in the upbringing of a country’s economy. The socialist does not deny that, however, the numbers who really can succeed is only the few who have the opportunity and privileges to succeed. The socialist remains incredulous that the capitalist system is able to deliver equality and freedom to its people. On ‘the determination to succeed’, the socialist believes in ‘the determination to life’ or the impulse to share the wealth and earnings among the community which benefits all as an act of altruism which surpasses the transgression of morality by capitalist systems that advocate wanton disregard of the equal human right to life.

One may argue that it is unfair to impute the capitalist system to a citizen’s well-being. The socialist would like to ask the capitalists a simple question:”Why are the footballers earning more money than nurses?” Is it fair that footballers are earning disgusting amount of money while nurses only get a minuscule pay check?

The notion of ‘the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer’ is a damning indictment of capitalism.

Capitalist often use the language of human rights against the socialists, it respects right of the poor to starve and thirst in the gutter or ghettos, while upholding the rights of the rich to keep them there.

Do not be fooled! We the socialists understands human rights more widely and fully, which guarantees the right to work, the right to an education, and to the right health care.

Would you rather be ruled by the community or money?
We, the socialists are the bulwark of the underprivileged.
